The End Polio Now campaign – Contributing to the saving of over 15 million lives
since 1985, when global cases of wild Polio were upwards of 350,000 annually.
In 2026, Polio only exists in 2 countries, which are Afghanistan and Pakistan. To date (September, 2026), 36 cases have been reported by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. (32 cases in Afghanistan and 4 cases in Pakistan.)
Of course, the goal is to report 0 cases.
