Rotary Club of Springvale City has developed Recycled Sound Reimagined. Collecting quality donated hearing aids from all over Australia, we assesses and catalogues them via advance Ai technology into a hearing aid bank, we fit them to people who have no other way of getting help.
Hearing aid banks exist all over the country. However, the problem is that people who need them most don’t know they exist.
Our first priority group are refugees and people seeking asylum, because they sit outside almost every funded hearing pathway currently available.
Two barriers stand out – sorting and maintaining a donated inventory takes more volunteer hours than most clubs can find, and there’s a real knowledge gap about what a hearing aid bank can actually do for someone.
Sorting and matching devices by hand takes too long, and every hour spent sorting is an hour not spent teaching someone how to look after their hearing.
Recycled Sound Reimagined Hearing Aid Bank and AI app is our attempt at solving this dilemma.
Please donate to help fund our reach to help those in need.
Service above self.
